The Direct Marketing Association represents the UK’s multi-billion pound direct marketing industry. With over 1,000 UK company members the DMA offers the latest and most creative thinking and the greatest community of digital and direct marketing experts, leaders, shapers and creators.

Each year the DMA hold their prestigious DMA awards ceremony to celebrate and reward the best thinking innovation and results across the marketing industry. The awards present the opportunity for companies to have their commercial excellence recognised and publicised.

Over 350 experts from leading agency’s, brand’s and suppliers are selected to complete a detailed judging process prior to the event, to determine the best of the best. With the awards ceremony a major highlight on the DMA calendar, the DMA Awards Team wanted an engaging, innovative and interactive pack to assist the judges with the judging experience.


Amstore Innovation, was asked to partner with the DMA as their creative fulfillment partner, and worked closely with the DMA Awards Team to design, create and produce the ‘The Judges Award Pack’.

The result was a creatively designed, bespoke pack that included some of Amstore Innovation’s engaging digital media marketing tools:

  • A 2.4″ RevealPak VideoPak; the latest innovative addition to the VideoPak generation.  It has a slide-out front cover that when opened revealed the screen and the video plays automatically. The video content comprised of a short film that was custom produced and walked the judges through the judging process.
  • A business size card Digital Key which once inserted into a computer launched the DMA Awards website so Judges could view the categories they were to judge.
  • A 4GB custom shaped DMA branded USB.
  • DMA branded headphones, which are required for the judging event (for use with the iPad).
  • A Pret-a-manger coffee card to use en route to the judging location to help ensure the Judges are bright eyed and bushy tailed on arrival.

The packs were mailed out directly to each of the judges.
